Jeff Fisher showed up last night at an event in Nashville where Tony Dungy (ex Colts coach) was appearing. Fisher then took off his jacket, revealing a Peyton Manning Colts jersey. Fisher joked, “I just wanted to feel like to be a winner.”
And then the good people of Nashville exploded with incredulity. How could their coach wear a blue shirt with an 18 on it?!?! How dare he?!?! Good grief you won’t believe the way some of the Titans fans are freaking out about this… as thought he’d done something truly horrible like kill a homeless man or talked smack about God (Bible belt and all).
This is so awesome. And now, Fisher has apologized… sort of. He actually does this amazing non-apologetic apology where he says, essentially, he’s sorry for offending you, but if you got offended then you’re stupid.
Another new PQE for this one. “Coach dons jersey of rival team’s star player in public – 55″
Titans and Fisher owners are 55 points richer.
Oh, and they are 25 points richer now that Fisher has publicly apologized. That’s a two-fer right there, and an 80 point swing.
