Justin Fargas Believes In Reincarnation – 80 Points

Justin Fargas is going to take a lot of crap for this.

You remember the pigeon who flew in kickoff coverage with the Raiders last Sunday?  He’s claimed on a radio interview that the pigeon might have been deceased former teammate Marquis Cooper, who died in March.

The pigeon flew, almost as if in formation, with the rest of the kickoff coverage team–Raider Cornell Green even pointed out that the pigeon was in the same lane/assignment that Cooper would have filled.

Wow.  Um…  how do you mock someone for saying something silly without treading on the feelings of players who might still be mourning their teammate?  I’ll let you guys figure it out in the comments.  In the meantime… this was far to juicy to leave alone.  I have created a new PQE:

“Player claims that wildlife on the field during a game may be reincarnated former teammate – 80 Points”

Now, plenty of people believe in reincarnation.  I happen to think they’re mostly wrong, but their entitled to their opinion.  But even if you accept reincarnation, it’s far-fetched to think the former player would return to the stadium as a pigeon and think he can help on special teams.  I mean… he’s a pigeon for Pete’s sake.  But then… you remember how bad the Raiders are, and you start to think… “maybe the Raiders can use all the help they can get.”

Anyway… Fargas and Raiders owners can rejoice in your new found 80 points.  And for fun, here’s the video of the pigeon in action:
