This guy alone could win someone the league.
Flozell Adams of the Cowboys has been fined again–the third time this year. If you’re not keeping track, that’s one fine per game so far.
Don’t know about you, but I believe in Adams… I think he can keep up the torrid pace and end the year with 16 fines. Hmm… how many Fantasy UnSports should we award any player that ends the year averaging one fine per game?
At any rate… this fine was $7,500, and scores Adams and Cowboys owners another 30 points.

Craig Hentrich, 16-year-veteran punter for the Tennessee Titans has been placed on IR, ending his season.
The real bummer is that he’s so far up in years (for NFL players), there’s speculation that this could basically be the end of his career. That’s a real shame (no sarcasm). Hentrich has long been one of the best punters in the league. I hope he gets another shot, assuming he wants one.
60 Points for Hentrich and Titans owners.

Either I never paid enough attention, or there are a heck of a lot more season-ending injuries than I realized there were.
A moment of silence for the 2009 campaign of Jamal Brown, a left tackle for the New Orleans Saints… he’s done for the year after a hip-related surgery.
Poor guy, he was just beginning to… oh, who am I kidding? I don’t have the slightest idea how often he plays or if he’s any good. I do feel badly for him. There’s always next year.

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Frank Summers (sounds like a stage name to me) is out for the year after a back injury (Yikes!).
Back injuries suck, and I hope he can recover–he’s young, and has plenty of years ahead of him.
Oh, also… I’ve never heard of Frank Summers. So there you go… proof that playing Fantasy UnSports can actually enhance your football knowledge.
60 Points for those of you who had heard of him and picked him, and those of you who picked the Steelers.

Rams Linebacker David Vobora has been suspended by the league for four games for violating the league policy on performance enhancing substances.
He has admitted that what he took wasn’t on the list of approved substances.
Awesome. Good job, guy. See you in five weeks.
45 Points to you if you picked Vobora or the Rams.
