Fines are so far our biggest category of PQEs.  I don’t think I would have guessed that, but it seems a bit obvious in hindsight. Tyrone Carter of the Pittsburgh Steelers has been fined $5,000 for a big hit against the Bears.  That’s 30 points for Steelers and Carter owners. In what has to be an NFL first… Eagles cornerback Sheldon Brown has been fined $10,000 for coming out of the tunnel for the Saints game wearing a Jason mask–that’s Jason from the Friday the 13th movies. Believe it or not, that’s a uniform violation.  Maybe he should have gone with a painted William Shatner mask instead. And I’d like to take a moment and point out that Jason Jones of the Titans was fined only $5,000 for punching a dude, and Sheldon Brown has been fined a whopping $10,000 for wearing a freaking mask.  I hope there’s a competition committee to examine...

Remember Jason Jones, the Titans player who was ejected from Sunday’s game against the Texans for throwing a punch?  Well, the Texans players involved in the fight have now been fined as well–one of them has been fined more than Jason Jones was. Andre Johnson received at $7,500 fine–he started the whole thing, apparently. Jacoby Jones received a $5,000 fine–same as Jason Jones. Some notes and updates: At the wonderful suggestion of one of our players, Eric, I have set up a Facebook Fan Page for Fantasy UnSports.  I am a Facebook novice, but I gave it my best crack.  I went ahead and added a widget to the right sidebar of the site, where you can become a Fantasy UnSports fan.  Presumably, it will display comments and notes on our “wall” and such in the widget as well.  It’s blank right now because, well… I have zero friends (on Facebook, that is).  But I’m crossing my fingers that a few of you will click the little “Become a Fan”...
