Kids, it’s not cool to choke your wife. That’s actually part of the marriage vows–the lesser known part.
But Tampa safety Jermaine Phillips must not have used that section of the vows in his own wedding, because he’s been arrested after trying to choke his wife during a domestic argument. Man, making fun of people who get physically violent with their wives doesn’t even have to be related to this game or football. What kind of an idiot chokes his wife?
Here’s hoping everyone’s okay. 40 points to you Bucs owners, or Phillips owners if any of you exist.

Saints defensive end Bobby McCray was arrested last night… for a DUI. Celebrating New Years a bit early, I guess… and got nabbed.
Because NFL players don’t make enough money to have a sober person drive them. Poor NFL players. When will the collective bargaining agreement be altered to allow them to drive drunk whenever they want?
Oh, and this is worth 65 points to those of you with the Saints or Mr. McCray on your roster.

But this lawsuit seems to stem from the fact that he recently filed to be the legal father of the child, but did so in Georgia–a state with some of the lowest child support...

As if a $70 Million lawsuit wasn’t enough, Terrell Suggs of the Ravens has now also had a protective order slapped against him. 45 Points
Falcons player Jonathan Babineaux was arrested and charged with possession of 1.5 ounces of marijuana. He says he’s innocent and we’ll see the truth. But I’m not holding my breath. 50 Points.
The Eagles’ Trent Cole was ejected for throwing a punch. 50 Points.
Now, some great video of the Giants/Eagles fracas that ends with Trent Cole’s punches:
