So Deon Anderson of the Dallas Cowboys was arrested this week… on traffic warrants.  On one hand, I’m glad no one got hurt and that his crime wasn’t violent or anything.  On the other hand… can we get an arrest for something less boring than traffic warrants?!  I mean, it’s hard to make that stuff exciting.  Anyway… that’s worth some points…35 points to be exact. Brian McKinnie–another of those idiots on the Pro Bowl roster that probably shouldn’t have been on the roster but only was because so many other players bailed–is a big idiot. First, he skipped Pro Bowl practice–and we are now told it’s because he was out partying at the club.  Awesome. Then, the NFC kicked him off the roster for his violation.  Sweet. Now, there’s not a specific PQE for this kind of lunacy.  But there’s one for “skipping practice” and another for “being benched for disciplinary reasons”, and those are both worth 25...

Three New Orleans Saints players have been fined by the NFL for various infractions: Bobby McCray was fined $20,000 for his low hit on Brett Favre. Jonathan Casillas was fined $5,000 for striking an opponent late. And Anthony Hargrove was fined for “lifting his opponent and stuffing him to the ground,” whatever that means. That’s 30 points each for the three players.  If you have the Saints on your roster, that’s 30 points three times for these fines.  Might have just shaken up the leaderboard there. Tweet This...

Ken Hamlin, a safety for the Dallas Cowboys, has been fined $12,000 for a couple of flagrant fouls in last weekend’s playoff matchup with the Eagles.  It seems there may have been a shot to the head involved. I’m sure the $12,000 fine will keep Mr. Hamlin from ever hitting too hard again (sarcasm intended). But his bad behavior is your gain, with 30 points going to Hamlin and Cowboys owners.  Congrats! You guys are letting me get soft.  I somehow missed the Jim Mora firing as a PQE–I heard the story, but somehow didn’t remember to make it worth points.  My apologies. Coach firings, as you know, are worth 30 points… and 30 points might end up making the difference in this wacko league. I’m surprised they fired Mora.  He seemed like a good coach, a guy the players liked.  Kind of shocked they fired a coach after one year who improved on his predecessor’s record by two wins.  Oh well.  Win now or you’re nothing, I guess.
