The NFL is a strange animal.  On the one hand, they think throwing a football in the stands is an unacceptable thing for a touchdown-scoring player to do, and they feel so strongly about it that they’re gong to hand out fines over such behavior. Holy freaking crap. I knew there would be a fine, but geez. Titans owner Bud Adams has been fined $250,000 for his “bird flipping” incident yesterday after his team beat the Bills. Read that again, just in case you were skimming… $250,000.  A quarter of a million dollars.  For giving the finger.
