The NFL is a strange animal. On the one hand, they think throwing a football in the stands is an unacceptable thing for a touchdown-scoring player to do, and they feel so strongly about it that they’re gong to hand out fines over such behavior.
On the other hand, the fine they hand out is a measly $5,000 to a guy that makes $12 Million a year–that means he earns about five grand just putting on his pads before practice. Almost makes it worse than no fine at all. But that’s exactly what the NFL did with Steven Jackson.

It is not known what he tested positive for. He’ll miss the next four games and return after that.
45 points to you Bowe and Chiefs owners.

Holy freaking crap.
I knew there would be a fine, but geez.
Titans owner Bud Adams has been fined $250,000 for his “bird flipping” incident yesterday after his team beat the Bills.
Read that again, just in case you were skimming… $250,000. A quarter of a million dollars. For giving the finger.
That’s so huge, I created a new level of PQE for fines… any fine over $100,000 will now be worth 50 points instead of 30.
Here’s video of the act again, because it’s so funny:
That’s hilarious. And wrong. I’m surprised he wasn’t stripped down to...
