I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about this lately.  I have gotten emails from players that are adamant that points be awarded.  I have just as many emails from players saying it would go against the spirit of the game to award points for this. I have to admit, I tend toward the latter.  This game was designed to make fun of millionaire athletes doing stupid things, and to celebrate their misbehavior… not to celebrate a death. Geez.  Chris Henry, who was in a car accident yesterday and fought all night for his life, has now died, according to Yahoo Sports. This is awful.  It doesn’t matter what came before this, no 26-year-old deserves to die. I feel bad for his family, his teammates, and the girl he reportedly got engaged to yesterday. R.I.P. Chris. Ladies and Gentlemen… we have a tight race heading into the final three weeks of regular season play (don’t forget, our game runs straight through the night of the Super Bowl, and even players not on playoff teams can get arrested during the post season… so plenty of time left to catch up).
