Green Bay Packers Nick Barnett got emotional on Twitter after Sunday’s game. Seems he missed a tackle, and then landed one on the next play and did some form of celebration. And some fans thought his failure was recent enough that he shouldn’t celebrate a tackle.
So he told them to kiss his a**. Nice. Oh, and he did it on Twitter. Awesome.
What’s funnier than that, though, is that this morning he has announced he’s quitting Twitter. He says he finds it hard to remember that everything on Twitter is public and his emotions get the best of him. Um, yeah… welcome...

You know what’s fun? Ripping your own fans for booing you. This is especially true if you’re a rookie–better yet… a rookie almost no one has ever heard of… who didn’t even play in the game in question.
Redskins rookie linebacker Robert Henson was so disgusted by his team’s fans booing them for their miserable play on Sunday that he took to his Twitter account to call them out. Mostly it was a chance to brag about how he makes more money in a week than the fans. Here’s a snippet:
“I’m use [to] heckling but I’ve never been booed in...

The New York Jets are like Chad Johnson, they still haven’t figured out that calling out opponents before you play them tends to work out badly. Many of the Jets players have been jawing all week about the Patriots–it actually started with the coach, who left a voicemail for Jets season ticket holders asking them to come out and help them beat the Patriots.
When I read this article, where Free Safety Kerry Rhodes claimed his team was out to “embarrass” the Pats, I decided to finally call the thing a PQE. I’ll award points to anyone with the Jets or with Kerry Rhodes on...

Sorry, guys, I’m a couple days late on this. Apparently Keyshawn Johnson and Chris Carter talked some smack about the Baltimore Ravens, calling some of them bums. Seems that recently unretired receiver Derrick Mason took exception to that, and blasted them back. Here’s what Mason said:
“Keyshawn Johnson is the bum, that’s why he’s in the analyst seat. He tried to come back to football but no one would sign him. He was never that good a player. He got lucky and signed on in Tampa Bay and won a Super Bowl because they had a great defense.
Just look at the two people...

Chad Ochocinco has thrown out one of his typical pot-stirring pre-game comments. He sure likes to try and get the other team riled up and dare them to stop him. Kinda funny, considering how miserably unproductive he’s been for the last two seasons. Is he deluded? He’s got to be the only person left on the planet that thinks he’s funny, right?
Anyway, this time he’s threatening to do a Lambeau Leap in Green Bay this week if he scores a touchdown. If he does that… he’ll probably get beer tossed on his head, maybe a shiv to the ribs, and almost definitely an...
