St. Louis Rams rookie Bradley Fletcher is out for the season with ligament damage. Sounds painful to me, but what do I know?
Also, Chris Massey, the longsnapper, is done for the season as well, with a knee injury.
Man, the knee is a delicate thing, is it not? Should I post the picture of a knee again? Seems a bit redundant at this point.
You’d think losing two players would make the Rams worse, but you’d be wrong to assume it’s even possible for them to get worse.

Sorry, guys. I am a day or two behind on PQEs (thanks for all the emailed tips on new occurrences) and about three days behind on a new leaderboard. I’m such a slacker. I have plenty of good reasons, but they all start sounding like excuses (went out of town for a conference, had to take my wife to the hospital one night, etc.)…
Anyway, today is the day we get caught up… it’s a guarantee.

Tennessee Titans running backs LenDale White and Chris Johnson have just earned their owners 30 points for making national news with a Tweet. Ugh. I’m officially eliminating this category as soon as I publish this post, because Tweets alone will end up creating 5 hours of work per day for me. Don’t worry, I’ll add some new Twitter-related PQE’s to take its place, but this one’s just too broad to keep up with.
Seems the duo of rushers had a pre-game brunch (yesterday) with none other than Snoop Dogg. Wow. Good to see their priorities are in order. Steelers game...

San Diego’s backup running back, Curtis Brinkly, was shot in his car early this morning in Philadelphia.
Ouch. I bet that hurt.
Looking over my points list, I see that I don’t yet have “Athlete is shot” among the Point Qualifying Events… shame on me.
Under the current list, though, this event would still earn you 40 points… for Non-Sports-Related Injury.
I shall immediately amend the PQE list to add a shooting injury.
Is anyone still in doubt as to whether or not there will be enough off-the-field events for this game to succeed?

Brandon Jacobs is a guy that doesn’t exactly filter his thoughts all the time. If our Fantasy UnSports season had already begun, he’d have earned you points today by badmouthing an opposing team’s player… namely Tony Romo.
Jacobs doesn’t feel that Romo’s a very good quarterback, and so he said so.
Stay classy, Brandon.
